   Learningpc4beginners.com teaches members to protect their computers using a Firewall and a Anti-virus software. Members also use software to keep Trojans, and spyware off of their boxes. Because the Internet has become so corrupt with con artist doing every means possible to infect computers world wide. Using a Firewall and a Anti-Virus software is mandatory if you join our list. ALL members will use these type security software to protect their boxs at all times. No excuses are accepted. This includes Linux users. Linux users are in contact with both Windows and MAC users everyday on the Internet. It's important for you to protect them, as well as yourself at all times. This all amounts to taking responsibility for your own box, in what you download/upload, email, and having respect for all computers you come in contact with.

 

  We also teach our members on how to protect themselves against phishing. ( (fish´ing) (n.) The act of sending an e-mail to a user falsely claiming to be an established legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft.) We use several software to protect our computers. Site Advisor is one such program Site Advisor We try our best to not be biased against software. We teach you that the software you use, has a market just like any other product that you may buy. It is up to you to find what works best on your computer. However certain software like Site Advisor has no competition. But that doesn't mean we wont recommend it. if it's a good product you can be sure we will recommend it regardless of it's competition, or lack of.
