My Campaign is simple...

 

     In order to get the importance of computer security out to the masses of computer users I made a ebook that explains computer security for ALL users that need a helping hand. This includes new computer users. This ebook is intended to be shipped with a computer or to be used as the first item a new computer user sees when they log onto their Internet ISP for the first time, or start their computer up for the first time. The following companies can get involved in this effort. All Computer manufacturer's, ISPs, Security software vendors, Microsoft, Linux, and Apple Operating System providers. Plus any computer users that have a website of their own that purchases the software can display it proudly.

This is a on going effort for everyone to get envolved in. You need not take a back seat to this. All companys envolved in this effort will be able to show the Endorser of the Computer Security Campaign logo, and have a link back too their Website on the Computer Security Hall of Fame Campaign page.

Why did I start this campaign?

 

Think about this...
When you first get any type of electrical appliance, a car, even a childs bike, you also get warning lables, security instructions on how to operate them. Or you learn by training like you do when your learning to drive a car. A computer should be no different. Yes you know enough not to open the back with the computer plugged in. Everyone knows about this. But you don't have instructions on how to run a secure computer. The ebook offered is something that can be shipped with a computer, or when a consumer calls a ISP to get a connection for the first time, they can be asked by Tech support if they already have this ebook, and if not it will be shipped along with their ISP disk, or a link will be provided to them so they can download it.
